Nicole Tayag
Lawyer
Nicole joined KazLaw as a summer student in 2021, shortly after finishing her law degree in the UK. She stayed on as an articled student until her call to the Bar in 2023. During her articles, she assisted counsel in complex personal injury trials in the British Columbia Supreme Court.
While attending law school, Nicole led a team with the Miscarriages of Justice Project, a pro bono group that aids prisoners who have maintained their innocence through their trial and conviction. This is where she first realized her passion for advocacy, which eventually led her to plaintiff personal injury law.
Prior to law, Nicole was an accomplished competitive ballet dancer for 15 years. This experience taught her attention to detail, determination, and discipline – qualities that she has carried into her law practice. Outside of the office, you can find Nicole walking the sea wall (most likely with a coffee in hand), catching a movie or counting down the days until she can decorate her apartment for the next holiday.
