Rea Kalsi

Rea Kalsi joined KazLaw in 2023. Prior to joining, Rea articled and practiced at one of Western Canada’s largest litigation firms in downtown Vancouver where she gained experience in representing both injured clients as well as insurance companies and defendants in cases involving personal injury. Her practice focused primarily on representing plaintiffs in motor vehicle and other bodily injury claims such as slip and falls, medical malpractice, assault, and sexual abuse. She has worked on cases involving traumatic brain injury, concussion, chronic pain, orthopedic injury, vocal cord paralysis, anaphylactic shock, and psychiatric and psychological disorders. She has advocated for clients in a wide range of matters before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has experience mediating and negotiating out of court settlements.

Rea is determined to help her clients overcome difficult and overwhelming legal situations and is always conscious of her clients’ well-being. She is passionate about finding creative ways to resolve matters while ensuring that a just settlement is obtained.

Born and raised in Surrey, BC, Rea completed her Bachelor of Arts with distinction at Simon Fraser University. Prior to attending and graduating from law school at the University of British Columbia, she worked at the Vancouver Provincial Court of British Columbia where she fostered her keen interest in our court system. During law school, she interned at the Surrey Provincial Court of British Columbia where she gained invaluable insight from the provincial judiciary.

When not practicing law, you can find Rea at the gym, enjoying the outdoors with her family and friends, and furthering her knowledge and practice of yoga, meditation, and brain health improvement. She is also a prominent dog lover ever since having her first family dog, Rocco – a 170 lb great dane mastiff mix.
